5-in-1 Cartridge:

1. 5 micron polyethylene pre-filter

• Removes rust, sediments and larger particles

2. 1 micron activated carbon block

• Reduces residual chlorine
• Reduces heavy metals (mercury, lead, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, selenium, iron, aluminum, zinc)
• Removes trihalomethanes (TTHMs) and volatile organic components (VOCs)
• Removes bad taste and odors

3. Anti-bacterial granular activated carbon

• Silver ions prevent bacterial growth on hollow fiber surfaces
• Removes bad taste and odors

4. Hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane

• Made from polysulfone
• 0.1-0.01 microns
• Removes waterborne microorganisms, bacteria, algae and cysts
• Reduces particles ≥ 0.01
• Allows passage of healthy minerals

5. Silverlite

• Consists of silver impregnated natural inorganic minerals (CaO, SiO2, AlO3, MgO, MnO)
• Anti-bacterial properties
• Prevents secondary contamination from outside
